3.0 Tragic Death

  Two hour later, the battle still continues at bukit Candu. All weapon been used such as, hand bomb and automatic rifle. Lt. Adnan handled a machine gun type ‘Lewis Gun’. Lastly, The Japanese launched big massive attacks to conquer the area. Adnan and his Kompeni C defeated because of less amount of army and ammunition compare to the Japanese. Although been outnumbered and defeated, they managed to kill almost 800 Japanese troops.

  Corporal Yaakob, one of the survivors in that war saw how tragic the death of Adnan bin Saidi. Yaakob survived when he pretend lied beside his ally dead bodies. The braveness of Lt. Adnan make the Japanese angry thus tied Adnan upside down to a Cherie tree on that hill. Then, they savagely bayonet him to death and lastly cut his throat to end his life. This is the end of a brave Malaya hero who protects his beloved country from the colonizer.
